I flew to Seoul with my husband, Markus and met up with my fabulous sister, Paula, and her daughter, Hope on December 23 2012. This was the start of our return to Asia for the Christmas and New Year. And what a trip it was!

It was Christmas celebrations at the Seoul Foreign School where Paula and and Hope reside. Christmas Dinner was 'deeeelicious Paul' and then on to Shanghai for the New Year Magic!

A warm and hearfelt thanks to Michelle, Bruno, David and the whole M On The Bund Team for having me perform with my Trio on December 29th 2012. We played in the sophisticated Glamour Bar. It was just devine. The colourful murial on the wall as a backdrop; the Grand Piano - the best in Shanghai -, the lights, sophisticated guests from all over the world, the fine food, all served to make this night sensational.

Sean Higgins on Piano and E.J. Parker on bass - Thank you. You guys were a delight!

New Years Eve was brought in with the very fine dining of T8 Xintiandi. Thank you Walter and Team for the superb welcome and allowing us to play in 2013 with such style! We had a blast.

Of course the icing on the cake was having my sister and my neice on the stage with me. Paula you rocked it with those backing vocals. Hope, you know you just left everyone speechless with your tunes 'NO ONE' by Alicia Keys and 'Mo Betta Blues'  my Miles Davis. The lyrics I wrote and recorded on the Chasing Hope album.

I am looking forward to 2013. After such a brilliant start. We were in Shanghai after 6 years of moving to Switzerland. It was the first time back in this vibrant city as a whole family. We loved it. ......and I got a funny feeling we will be back......
