The songs sung here were once made famous by Quincy Jones, Billie Holiday, Lauryn Hill, Sarah Vaughan, and Cilla Black. On this album, Alexia finds a new home for them. Aided by her excellent backing band and with an appropriate confidence in her voice, Alexia entirely makes these songs her own'.

It is the tune that we mostly recall our father singing. It did transport us immediately to the life where both Mum and Dad were in it! We have each other and we have sweet memories to keep us smiling. Indeed both parents are beside us. Hence, Stand By Me!
