After 5 days of magical performances and beautiful people I can honestly say Jazzzascona 2012 was a resounding success. There were hundreds of international musicians and jazz lovers from all over the world swinging to the music in picturesque Ascona, Switzerland. I had a marvellous time. A warm and heartfelt thanks to Nicholas Gillet and his team for all the hard work and organisation of this huge music fest!
We did it boyz! Thank you Marcel Schefer (piano), Kalli Gerhards (bass), Beat Fraefel-Haering (drums) and Claudio Bergamin (trumpet). Every single night was 'ridiculous'! Special thankyou to Thomas Rheinache (bass) who joined us on the final night. What a night! We had that audience in the palm of our hands for 2 and a half hours!.
